Hasn’t been too bad over here in the NW, as far as weather goes.
Last week it only rained twice ;
Three days the first time, and four days the second time.
It’s really quite incredible that there is that much water up there to come down on us!!
But really, the rain only makes the world more beautiful after it stops, and that odd round yellow thing in the sky that we’d almost forgotten what it was, comes out and sends a gleam over the glittering diamonds resting on the grass-tips and on the leaves. And the clouds clear away and Mt. Hood comes into view, freshly covered in a pure white blanket, glowing in the sky.
A little over two weeks ago a very good friend of mine was killed in a horrific car accident.
There’s been a lot of rain lately.
Eventually the sun will come out again and one will see that there is still more work to be done, that though his death was untimely and harshly abrupt, I am still alive, which means that unlike him, my work is not yet done.
I am thankful for the mercy of the Lord. And His love. And His Word.
Amid the rain the work must go on.
And in the rain, Benjamin decided to let his windshield wipers start working again. It’s amazing how much easier it is to see the road, other cars, and stop signs when the windshield is clear.
So if your windshield is not clear, check your wipers. Make sure your view is unhampered and clear focused on the Almighty.
